China Rapid Injection Molding

Rapid prototyping can also take the form of injection moulded parts. How? Rapid moulding (bridging moulds) uses production resins to provide high quality parts in small batches (up to 100,000). Think of rapid injection moulding as end-use prototyping. End-use, because your part is identical to the production part. Prototype, because the lead times and costs of rapid injection moulding are significantly lower compared to complete production tooling.

Rapid injection moulding services

Rapid plastic moulding tools are made of steel or aluminium. We use both options, but most of our custom injection moulds are made of steel. Why? To create more value for you. Our steel rapid tooling injection moulding service will typically provide more than twice as many parts as a comparable aluminium project.

Why choose Kesu for in-line injection moulding?

- Manufacturing speed - Design for manufacturability feedback

- No minimum order quantity (MOQ)

- Molding expertise

- Mitigating demand fluctuations

Benefits.

Machining times are much shorter than with conventional tools. The time taken to obtain the first product may be less than one fifth of that of a conventional tool.

Tool costs are much lower than conventional tools.

Challenges.

Tool life is lower than conventional production tools.

Tolerances are wider than with conventional tools.

Benefits of rapid injection moulding.

Prototyping of production materials in less time.

Allows for full fit and function testing.

Early detection of any design flaws. Low cost tooling allows for easy geometry modifications and design improvements.

A bridge to the production process - moulds can be run for thousands of parts. Contact CPIM today to take advantage of our rapid injection expertise in China.
